Pig in the Pond, The

This is an illustrated children's book based on an Irish story, about a pig who jumps into a pond on a hot summer day. The book was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal in 1993. Martin Waddell's other books include "Farmer Duck", "Rosie's Babies" and "Can't You Sleep, Little Bear".
