Naked God, The

Eneas McNulty is sentenced to death by the IRA, for fighting with the British in World War I. So McNulty begins his wanderings from Ireland to England, France and Africa, through peacetime and wartime, loneliness and friendship, all the time pursued by those he thinks of as the men in dark coats.
