With the largest public collection of his work in the world - in a venue open to all - it has some 150 works by the artist, in all techniques, and a huge archive of letters, musical scores, ‘cadavres exquis’, souvenirs, and photos… All the various phases of Magritte’s artistic career are covered, from the early Constructivist period, through the so-called ‘Renoir’ and ‘Vache’ periods to the final, mature works from the last years of the artist’s life.
