Built by Nobel laureate William North Hazelius, the Torus, the world's largest supercollider, has been constructed with the intent of unlocking the secrets of creation, the Big Bang, but when twelve scientists are sent to turn it on, they stumble upon a secret that must be hidden at all costs, unless ex-monk and CIA operative Wyman Ford can unlock
